The M-Series PVS-14 Dual Mount allows each monocular to be independently flipped up and out of the line of sight without affecting the position of the adjacent device. This extra rotation is essential for prolonged single-eye observation when night vision is unavailable or when relying solely on thermal imaging. Additionally, this feature enables the PVS-14 to fold closer to the helmet during stowage, providing a more balanced center of gravity and reducing the risk of bumping into door frames or overhead objects.
